Alvin C. Batalla

Mr. Batalla's fields of practice are in civil litigation (torts and damages, aviation law, arbitration) and labor law (termination disputes, retrenchment and redundancy, strikes and lockouts, mediation and arbitration). Before rejoining the Firm in 2003, Mr. Batalla was a partner at the Cayetano Sebastian Dado & Cruz Law Office. He clerked for Justice Ricardo Pronove, Jr. (Ret.) of the Court of Appeals, while finishing his law degree. Subsequently, he worked for the Philippine Senate as a member of the technical staff of former Senator Santanina Rasul. Mr. Batalla was a former professorial lecturer in civil law at the Perpetual Help University School of Law. Mr. Batalla is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Law (1989), and took his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in the same University (1982). A member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the Philippine Bar Association, he speaks English and Tagalog.
